Good basic 4 burner cooktop

My old cooktop came with the house (in 1967) so it was time for a new one. Since I wanted the new one to go where the old one had been I went with a similar model. The black color is different than my old white-ish model. I like that it doesn't show every little spot. The unit is reasonably easy to clean. Installation was OK once we realized we needed to get the mounting skirt too. We've been using it for 4 months now and it seems to be working fine. It does take "B" size drip pans if you need to replace any of them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This cook-top replaced a GE cook-top we had for 50 years. The new one was installed less than a month ago and we already find it as east to use as our old one.

Bought to replace a fancy glass one that I broke. Am much happier with old tech in this case. Works quicker than other one and is easy to clean

Rusty parts

We have had ours for about 6 years and the hinges are all rusting so bad that the top is literally barely hanging on only on one side, the other has rusted off completely. All the hinges have rusted.

Have some issues

The burners do not sit flat in the drip pans, you can move them back and forth with your hand when the burners are off. When you have a pan sitting on them the contents are not level leading to uneven browning if frying.
