Not what I expected.

When I purchased this tv I was under the impression that it would work fast and I would finally be able to get rid of the fire stick, roku and Apple TV just to keep a nice tv on the wall and maybe connect my Blu ray player in case I want to watch a movie that is not in digital form. Well, it turn out that my Vizio tv is very slow, it doesn’t support high speed internet even if I connect the tv straight to to my modem/router. I can’t install popular apps like hbo max, shudder, discovery+ or wow presents. Very disappointed, back in the day Vizio was my all time fav tv not sure when they lower the bar. I hope that changes in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello JAMILK, thank you for taking time to leave us your review. The TV absolutely does support high speed connections. This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. nice vizio TV assy to use the smart cast

All my TVs in the House are vizio tvs I buy my first TV six or seven years ago and I still buying the same Vizio TVs I love then

I just got this tv as a gift brand new blue screen right out the box!! Not happy at all!!!!
