This product does not operate consistently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for just 7 years this month. The computer that controls temperature has gone out once. Prior to that, however, and since, the unit does not maintain consistent temperature in the freezer or the refrigerator, and tends to start warming from time to time. Scary to keep having to empty the freezer to the garage freezer until it rights itself. I am thinking of dumping it for an inexpensive new refrigerator. I have paid plenty for two GE refrigerators, and neither have performed properly. I do NOT recommend this product.

Inconsistent Temperature in Freezer & Refrigerator

Our unit is 10 years old as of June 1, 2010. We have had several issues from the time it was delivered. New door immediately which did not solve the issue and we were given a complete new unit. Temperature consistency has been a problem these past ten years especially during the summer months when temps are above 90 degrees F and often over 100. We have lived with all issues with this refrigerator. We are researching for a new refrigerator. It will not be a GE.
