Microwave performs as expected, the cooling fan is a little noisy but managable. Overall great product.

I love the size of this microwave. Any dish will fit. It will look huge when first installed but in a few days you won't even notice that it sticks out a bit farther. Things cook at the suggested times whereas I used to have to add minutes to get foods cooked. Water boils very quickly.

Too noisy when using microwave. We've not had a chance to use the convection features yet due to learning curve. Microwave works as expected except for the noise.

Venting Issues

This microwave is supposed to vent to the outside, however inside the microwave itself it does not vent to the outside. Only the hood vent for the stove vents to the outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to replace our original Gold Whirlpool microwave so we decided to just get the newest model of the original. It came with a lot of new features that we hoped would be beneficial. The steaming option works but not as good as a streamer. The conviction option takes as long as the convection option on our stove. The reheat plate option usually completely "nukes" the leftovers to the points you just throw them away. But as a microwave it works great. The only thing I miss is the quick keys of 1 - 6 "express minute" starts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had our microwave for 6 months. We have used the convection oven feature on it a couple of times -- it works well when our other two ovens are full and/or we need a different temperature. The only thing I'm not as thrilled at is the fact that you need to hit the cancel button when it is done cooking (any kind of cooking -- microwave or convection) to get back to clock mode. But that is not a deal-breaker. It is a good microwave with lots of great features for the price. We're happy with the purchase.

I can use all my old manual entry times for cooking, just adjust a little for the 1100 watt ouput.
