I'm particularly impressed with the vent fan. It clears out cooking odors rapidly - even when I over cook something on the stove. The convection oven mode cooks faster than the regular oven using the same temperature and the microwave mode has some great features I have never used before, I.e., softening butter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Maybe we're old fashioned, but we would have liked to have seen a manual which explained in depth the features, how to access them, and how they work .The one and only feature which doesn't completely satisfy us is the defrost. The two options are restrictive and we keep cooking our items instead of defrosting them.

The Whirlpool Microwave works excellent. we had it installed about 3months ago.For the price of this unit, it cannot be beat. It does every thing they says it does.I would recommend this microwave to a friend.

It blew a fuse with in a week after we got it.

While in convection mode it suddenly quit. Under warranty the repairman came out and found a 20 amp bus fuse was blown. Has been doing okay since then which has been about three weeks. The plastic covering on the control panel has bubbled up. I will have that address if any other issues arise. The repair man suggest always get the extended warranty on these type of appliances. I do have a four-year extended warranty so I hope it will not go to the lemon stage.

Very satisfied with this oven but directions for convection

Very pleased with everything about his oven except there are not specific enough directions for using the convection oven, just a few general. I needed to know if I could use a metal pie pan but the directions did not address anything but a baking dish. Can I use metal or silicone pans or does it have to be microwavable glass? How much should I decrease the baking time if I use the manual setting?
