Love the combination - convection and microwave

I've enjoyed it's fast cooking features. At Easter it's convection oven saved my day since my oven was stuffed full!

Good All Around Microwave Convection Combo

It is fairly easy to use, however instructions are minimal. The cooling fan is loud! As is the convection oven. Convection cooking excellent....food cooks much quicker than a regular oven. It is nice to cook a frozen food for one with the convection feature as opposed to firing up a regular size oven for the same small portions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Microwave with convection options

My electric range under the Whirlpool microwave is getting lonely for more use as I do not use it much anymore as the new Whirlpool microwave cooks almost everything to perfection.

We love this microwave. Very easy and quick to use. Love the fact we can use it as a oven as well. Heats very well too. Easy to clean.

The microwave was a breeze to install with the supplied templates. Very easy to learn to operate it. Cooks well in standard and convection mode. Fan has an extra low speed for truly quiet operation. A good value, great price.

Missing a few key features.

I picked this microwave because of the convection oven feature. I expected that this microwave would have all of the features of other lower-end microwaves+ the convection oven, but it's actually missing some obvious features my cheap microwave had.1. There is no 1-button cook function. Before, I could push just "1" or "2" and so on to automatically cook on high for 1 or 2 minutes. Now I have to enter 1-0-0-start to cook for 1 minute.2. At the end of every cooking cycle, to go back to having the clock displayed, I have to push "cancel". Otherwise, it displays a messaging telling me to enter more time to continue cooking on the same program, and then eventually displays COOK and 00:00:00.3. The fan comes on very loudly for all microwave cooking. I expected this for the convection oven, but even for a 10 second microwave cooking, the fan comes on and the metal vent flap blows open (it vents to the outside, which is good). It's loud enough that even on low, you can easily hear it in the next room.On the plus side,1. Once the cooking completes and the end time starts to beep, if I open the door it stops beeping.2. It cooks fast. 1:30 seconds brings 1 cup of water to a near boil, 2 minutes cooks a bowl of oatmeal.3. It comes with a metal stand and rack for use in the convection mode and also a plastic steamer pan.4. It's possible to turn the beep and end timer off, if you want. You'll know it's done when the fan sound stops.So I can recommend this microwave if you really want the convection oven (and if you're hard of hearing, that's even better), but be warned about the missing features.
