I love this microwave. It's attractive, easy to use & performs great. I love having convenience of convection oven as I only have one oven.

I bought a microwave gold (accu wave system) 6 years ago at Island appliance in wilmington nc. The "vent" or piece across the length of the top is broken and I need another to replace it, it is 1.8 cu. ft. microwave, can you help?

Good and Bad

We have just had this product for several days and the jury is still out.So far my enthusiasm is tempered with the lack of documentation provided with this product. There are many features with this microwave but you have to discover them for yourself. The ?Users Guide? is a one fits all guide? and is useless. All through the ?Users Guide? is this comment (on some models). I did not purchase some models, I purchased this one. The powers to be at Whirlpool assume you will catch on sooner or later to the various features and how to use them.We recently purchased a Food Saver and it had better and specific documentation on the features and benefits andrecipes. Whirlpool just wants to sell their product but not provide anything else. Download the ?Users Guide? before purchasing this model and see for yourself.I did make a mistake and did not notice there is no grill feature, which we had on our other model, different brand. I will have to wait until this one dies before I can purchase one with that feature.

This product does everything I expected.

The microwave is quiet and very easy to clean. The convection oven is a great feature - it saves loads of time and frees up my larger oven. It also produces crispy chicken!

SHOULD LAST LONGER FOR THE PRICE

The inside door plastic at the latch cracked all the way across the door in two places. This expensive brand should be more durable and last more than two years.

The best appliace I've ever owned

We live in a 35' motorhome. The old convection microwave that was in the motor home died leaving us with no oven at all, no hood vent, no light, no microwave. It was miserable, but we started researching to find the best quality Over The Range Convection Microwave we could find within our budge. We found this unit and compared it to others - hands down this was the absolute best deal.When my husband got it installed we were ecstatic! I've baked bread, used virtually every feature , and just have to say that this one does it all. Favorite feature - the steam/simmer; perfect rice, polenta, grits, veggies. I love the fact that it bakes evenly, and interior cleans easily.The vent fan is really amazing. I love the cooldown feature, the warm & hold, the melt/soften feature, and how beautiful it looks! My husband loves that I can now cook all of our favorite foods perfectly and that makes this passionate cook a very very happy camper! Oh - and it makes perfect pizza using a pizza stone on the round rack!
