We like it but.......

The only thing about our microwave that irritates us is the timer feature. If your using the timer & want to heat something while using the timer, you lose the timer function. With our old Whirlpool microwave the timer would continue after heating something.Also door is slightly out of alighnment.

Versatile and easy to use

I am still getting used to my new over the cooktop microwave. It replaced a GE that I had for many years. It does everything I need and then some. I will definitely try using the convection unit more for baking. I used it once so far. I have no reason to feel disappointed with this unit.

Replaced builder's 700watt appliance with this 1100 watt model. Big difference. Also love the fact it has four vent speeds.

We really like this microwave. It looks great in our kitchen and is easy to use. was easy to install, the directions were simple to follow. The convection oven works great, we have baked some with it, and was impressed. When using the convection it was a little noisy and warm, but not anything unexpected. Really like all the different settings on the microwave, and having the convection oven will be real handy when we need more than one oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can not make popcorn

Has the product since installed in June and thought there was something wrong with it, cannot make microwave popcorn! burns it and 1/2 is made. Called whirlpool and sent out technician to tell me the product is working correctly, its the "sensor technology" that creates the problem. and it takes a long time to preheat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a new combonation microwave to replace my 9 year old Whirlpool microwave oven that was still working. I love my new oven for its versaltility. I can use it as a microwave or a regular small oven.

This Whirlpool WMH76718AS is a great microwave given honorable mention in ConsumerReports, July 2013 edition for over-the-range microwaves. Only three microwaves were listed! To date, I?ve used both the microwave and the convection oven. The ?popcorn? button makes great popcorn with minimal non popped corn. It senses the weight and sets the time to pop automatically. Twice I cooked salmon fillets on the rack in the convection oven with great results. I avoided the preheat function and started the cooking cycle after setting the temperature and time to cook manually. There is one strange feature that requires you to cancel additional cooking time to return the display to time-of-day. However, this feature makes sense when I set up a consecutive series of microwaving foods because I don?t have to press ?cook? continuously then set the time for each item. Still, pressing cancel seems awkward. Wow! It's beautiful in my remodeled kitchen.

Excellent Microwave

Love this microwave. It has a lot of nice features and everything works great so far. I like the sensors that automatically reheat the food and it's easy to clean. I haven't really used the convection oven yet, but I can't wait to test it out. I definitely recommend this product.
