Bakes and microwaves great.

We are not a family that uses extra features which this microwave has plenty of. As for the basics, microwave and baking, it works great. It is in our Motorhome so it is the only oven we have and we are pleased with how it bakes and microwaves.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this microwave for almost a year. I am somewhat disappointed in it. The convection aspect is VERY loud. Also the popcorn sensor button seems to leave quite a few of the kernels still uncooked in the bag. Sometimes the bag doesn't even open all the way. At the end of the day it is still just a microwave even though I was hoping for a bit more.......
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave has great features with the bonus convection

This microwave was a replacement for a Whirlpool Gold? 1.8 cu. ft. Microwave Hood Combination which quit working after 6 years. The added feature of a combination microwave/convection oven has been a joy. Since our children have left our home, the 9" cakes are just the right size for my husband and me. I also convect baked a beef roast successfully. I appreciate being able to bake without heating the house during the hot summer days.My one concern is how the fan blows out the top near the front. I can feel the air waves blowing on me while I am working at the stove or nearby counter.The preset options have changed on this model but were easy to learn and use. It has been a nice addition to our kitchen!

I really like the features on this microwave especially the convection oven. A week after purchasing this product, the oven on our range stopped working. We had planned on making a pizza for dinner, so I decided to try the microwave. It turned out great! I also use it when making a large dinner for my daughter and her family on Sundays.

We replaced a seven year old Gold Whirlpool Microwave unit with this new convection model. We have the Gold series 2dr refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, range and clothes washer and dryer as well.PROBLEM: The convection/ microwave "how to use" is sadly lacking on a $500 appliance. Recipes [convection] would be appreciated as well! Strongly suggest you consider a CD Tutorial....
