Nice 36" cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a LOT of research on 36" cooktops & this one pretty much fit the bill & had good reviews! I have used this cooktop for about a month now.
I like the look, with the little bit of stainless trim on the bottom edge - gave it a nice finish! The kitchen is gray & white with white/gray granite & ss appliances. I wasn't sure if I wanted the white or black cooktop. Happy I went with black, it has a nice contrast to the granite & ties nicely into my black granite sink!
I'm REALLY happy I chose this one with the knobs on the side. I've never had a cooktop before, so wasn't sure what was good or bad in a design. (we recently bought the house & had to replace the old one). Definitely would not want the knobs in the front. They don't get in the way on the side when cooking & I think they stay cleaner! Knobs pop off to clean underneath.
I like the dual size burner. Heat seems to be accurate on all burners & easy to control.
Clean up has been easy. I know other's have complained, but I'm not sure why. I had a glass top stove in the previous house (stove/oven combo) & this one cleans up exactly the same...straight edge razor blade for really bad spills & then the ceramic/glass cooktop cleaner and a BLUE 3M scrub sponge...dry with a paper towel & it shines like day one! I do think there is a little difference between this black cooktop and my previous white - I think the black will show more water spots...just clean & DRY!
I have not attempted to use all the burners at the same time, nor do I think I ever will...but nice to have the extra burner, just in case!
All-in-all, I am very happy with my cooktop.
The only reason I did not give it 5-Stars is because it does not come with the foam gasket to go between the cooktop & counter...something I think is rather important to keep an overflow/boil-over from running into your cabinets below. I was able to locate some, but had to buy 50'...guess I can change it out annually! LOL

Electric stove a great surprise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first electric stove I have cooked with and I am greatly surprised at how much I like it. I've always had gas stoves and was almost afraid to get the electric but we live in an area where where we had to get electric. So far it is easy to clean and it heats up very fast.
