Have a Tab 3 and was very satisfied with the performance etc. When I had an accident with my S III phone I got an S 5 and was so impressed with the difference that I decided to step up to the Tab S. Was not disappointed.
I have had my Samsung tablet for two months and absolutely love it. It has the same features as my Samsung Galaxy 5 phone, so I was able to jump right in and use the tablet without any "learning curve". It is slim, light weight, and I don't get tired holding it for hours at a time. Simply put, I love it.
It is fast, light, and oh so bright. The only qualm I have is that I can't remove some apps that I don't use, such as the Internet browser app (I use Chrome).
Boaught this about a month ago. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Everything is just what I wanted but there is 2 small cons I have found.
1. The amount of pre-installed apps is a little much. There are ways around this, but I would wish they would give us the option to download or not. 2. Not really samsungs fault, but you can not store apps on the SD card. This is a problem with Android's KITKAT that this tablet has. Again there are ways around this, but it voids the warranty.
I was torn between this and a few other tablets. I am happy with my decision.
I purchase this tablet solely because of the AMOLED display. I prefer AMOLED over LCD when watching video content. Overall, I am happy with the purchase despite the fact that I believe iOS apps and UI is superior compared to Android.
