I was very excited to buy it for my dad. I did not expect it to have only few languages to choose from. I was very disappointed to see that there is no Russian language available. Since my father speaks Russian, I'll need to get him something else.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, few language options
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Talk about a product that stands behind what is said on the TV and internet. this is very light weight and is fast. I have no lag time when using this product. I was convinced from my wife who has one to get this and it was and still is fantastic. I would recommended this product to all my friends and family. I am frequent traveler and this is going to be fantastic on the airplanes for work and movies.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just switched. I must say the best feature is sidesinc and screen mirroring with my 6edge and my TV. Still figuring things out. Love that I can put in a sim card for more memory too. I love all my Samsung toys! Even got my husband hooked!
I was looking to replace my worn-out PC laptop recently after it crashed for the last time. In the interim, I was using my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 to keep up with email, web-surfing, etc. After some hands-on time with the Tab S 10.5 at my local electronics store, I realized that it was capable of handling everything I was doing on my old PC - especially with the optional Samsung keyboard clamshell case. The dual quad-core processor is lightning fast, the super Amoled display is razor sharp and brilliantly, vibrantly colorful, as well as more detailed than an Hi-Def television - in combination, it puts my old laptop's LCD SVGA screen to shame. The onboard cameras are a delight - dare I say even better than my Galaxy S4 phone? Stunning clarity on the outer camera even in low-light conditions, and much more than I would've hoped for on the 'face' camera, which makes video conferencing a delight, at least on MY end. Video recording on the outer camera is just as great as taking stills, and is in full 1040p, so playback on an HDTV looks incredible. Speaking of my S4 phone - it can be 'Synced' to my Tab S 10.5 using an app called 'Side Sync 3.0' - when the two are paired, I can be working on my tablet at lunch at a restaraunt, and if my phone rings, I don't have to fumble for it anymore - I can answer and make calls right through my tablet. Thus far, it has been my most loved feature on the Tab S, and wasn't even aware of it at the time of purchase. The sound quality of the onboard speakers is good in quiet conditions, but you might look at getting a decent external stereo speaker when streaming movies or music. Listening to them with a pair of high-performance headphones is astonishing. Gaming has been really, REALLY good on this tablet - I've yet to experience any crashes or significant lag - not surprising with the processor array here. When I'm not using it for work purposes, it simply comes with me everywhere as a stand-alone tablet, and my friends and family are indeed impressed with it when showing off pics and videos. The battery lasts quite awhile - I can go about 4 hours at full bright display before recharging, and recharging takes about half that if I'm playing around on it while it's doing its thing. Bottom line - I love this unit so much, that I'm done with PC's.
This product has many plusses, and one major drawback.

I like almost everything about my Tab S 10.5. Screen visual quality, speed of operation, multi-screen feature, etc. are all superb. The problem is the size of the tablet. It's too big to be a smartphone and too small to be a laptop. It's pretty heavy for lying in bed and reading. My Kindle is lighter though not as easy to use. I find myself using my Galaxy S III ten times more than my tablet. What I should have purchased was a Galaxy Note. Too bad I didn't ask more questions of the salesperson. Since I have the Tab S, I'm going to buy a wireless keyboard for it, and turn it into a mini laptop. Wonder if Samsung has some kind of trade-in deal, so I could switch to a Note.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: too difficult to lug around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
