We decided to purchase the Tab S instead of the S2 since the reviews mentioned the benefits and quality of the older model were slightly better. Those who have seen the tablet and have other brands kept commenting about the picture quality, thinness of the design and ease of use. We're glad we decided to pay more for a Samsung, choosing it above an iPad, but wish the price had been lower considering it was an older model.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: price paid for an older model

Great tablet

I have been using the tablet for a month and I really like it. The kids prefer this over the iPad. I am using it as a remote, a reader, and a lot more. Great value

The SuperAmoled Display is outstanding. It has 288 ppi which eliminates pixilation completely. You can have multiple windows open due to the 3GB ram. You can expand the external storage up to 128GB by using a microSD Card.

I own quite a few tablets, but I love my new Samsung S tablet 10.5 especially for its vivid, bright display. It is just awesome! Colors are just so much brighter and sharp. Watching movies is a great experience on this tablet. The action is that much more enjoyable. The apps are good, but I don't play that many games. I am still learning my way around, but what I have used so far has been very good. Also very fast.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: quality of speakers

The first thing I notice, picking up the Samsung GALAXY Tab S, - display occupies almost the entire front of the tablet. Framework is almost there., Samsung GALAXY Tab S impresses. The plate is the most compact dimensions are 125.6 x 212.8 mm, thickness - only 6.6 mm, weight - a little less than three hundred grams. Tablet at the first acquaintance seems too easy; I would like to feel the weight in your hand. On the other hand, this tablet is the champion among classmates - 294 grams; the closest prototype weighs about 340 grams. It’s easier to hold in one hand, due to lower weight, palm tired not so much - although someone this exercise will seem as difficult. But it is the most compact and lightweight tablet, nothing is more convenient not yet been invented. The back part is made of plastic with a perforated, there is a pair of latches that resemble buttons - they are necessary for the use of original covers.
