PROS:: Nice colors, good price, and looks good.
SCREEN: The screen is very nice and has vibrant colors.. It can get very bright and very dark.
PRICE: I bought it for a nice price, refurbished. Better than a laptop that's the same price. Also got the official Bluetooth keyboard and a case with a strap to hold it better with one hand.
DESIGN: It looks good but could be better. Thin and light, but battery is more important.

CONS:: Two major problems with this tablet is it's design and performance.
BAD BUTTON PLACEMENTS: Holding the tablet can be very difficult. It's easy to hold with 2 hands but difficult to hold with 1. For example, if I were to hold it in portrait with the main buttons on the right, my left hand is were the volume and power button is and I sometimes press them. If I hold it with 2 hands, I'll sometimes press the recent apps button with my thumb so I'd have to hold it very low (1/3 of the bottom). If I rotate it so the main buttons are on the left, I'll press the back button with my thumb and the volume buttons would be reversed; volume up is down and down is up. Also, headphones would be plugged in at the top. The speakers should also be on the front, not the sides.
PERFORMANCE: The tablet isn't completely smooth when scrolling, especially in Google Play, opening and closing apps, pressing the recent apps button when in an app, or dragging down the drop down menu.

HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER::
-Add on screen buttons or at least center the off-screen buttons vertically and move them closer to each other. -Better cameras. -Remove the front logo or make the logo smaller, like an S for Samsung. I want to use to in both landscape and portrait but the logo makes it seem like you're using it the wrong way. -Make it run smoother, no TouchWiz, or at least change the name to something like GalaxyUI. -Stock Android is fine. -Put the headphone jack port next to the micro USB port. Not on opposite sides. -Put the volume and power buttons where hands aren't suppose to be when it's being held. For example, near the camera or on the back. -More then 16GB of storage. I had to buy a 32GB microSD card. -Put the speakers on the front.
From their phones to tablets and televisions, they are all top notch. The screen is bright, beautiful and the color is amazing. Using it with other Samsung devices via SideSync is an excellent feature. Best tablet I have ever used.
Own Kindle fire ,nexus 7 and now Samsung Tab s 10,5". The best display and just beautiful colors ; microSD card slot plus easy mirroring on my 4k Samsung tv . Apple iPad big loser -expensive and limited. I used to be Sony buyer but after my new 60 "Sony tv display broke (green line) , I got Samsung 4k tv and waiting for note 5 phone. Samsung please keep microSD card slot in note 5 phone ,it's so convenient for pictures and 4k movies clips.
