Photos are excellent from this printer. Not real fast but the quality makes up for it. I got a very good deal on this printer and love it.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Heavy/Bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it until it suddenly died

I've had this printer for a little over a year and have had no problems with it, until it just suddenly died. I tried to turn it on and no light, no response, NOTHING. I'm disapointed because for the amount of money spent on it, I would have hoped it would have worked longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Printer

I have owned Canon printers before and none of them were as bad as this one. Takes too long to print, you can hear the ink tray and the rollers moving and adjusting or something like that every time you need to print something and its worse if is the first print of the day! Also I print mostly in black and white occasionally in color and the cyan, yellow and magenta seem to run out of ink quite often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not sure I would buy another Canon after this one

Too many error codes on this printer. Worked less than a dozen times because every time I go to use it another error code turns on. We follow the codes and there are no errors. It is just hypersensitive. I have always liked canon printers but this one was a huge waste of money.

I can't imagine why this product has such low reviews. I chose it because it was economical and able to print direct to CDs and DVDs. I think it does a fabulous job of printing (scanning also). My only complaint is that it takes a VERY long time to be ready to print if started with power off. However, that hardly ever happens. It comes on fairly quickly from the sleep state.
Pros: Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use

too much head cleaning

I wish I can disable head cleaning after every print project, it takes too much time to start printing

NEVER AGAIN

This copier is extremely slow to print and it will not connect to my wi fi. It puts a 1/4" border on sides of my printed copies so I cannot get a full page "same size" copy. I learned this the hard way, by emptying all of my ink cartridges trying to get just one very important document copy made. Never again will I trust this company like I did in
