Does not work with Ubuntu

I bought this printer when I was using Windows XP. Now, XP will be over and I started to use Ubuntu. There is no support for Ubuntu so I have a new printer that can not be used. I can not believe Canon (I own cameras, scanner and other devices) does not support this OS.
Pros: Compact Design
Cons: Difficult Setup, not support for ubuntu
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy Canon. Thanks for not even letting me use the scanner due to a malfunctioning/dirty print head, that's a super neat feature guys.

Easy setup, WiFi also easy, set up WiFi once, can change individual ink colors, + 2 black tanks, do not have to buy the 3 color tank, can keep printing while some color tanks are empty

This printer will not do photo ID prints. If anyone needs it for that purpose, do not purchase this printer.

Canon printers r not worth it this is my second canon, first one MP560 did not last more then two ink refills. The second one MG6420 does not recognize when you refill ink carterages with ink. It's worst old marketing method. U cannot expect individuals to buy printer and pay for ink original carterages for same prize that's very in professional for canon to think that. I am never going to buy canon
Pros: no pros for purpose that it serves
Cons: Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption

This printer is compact (MG5420) but very slow printing. Does not have option for all black copies from computer.
It was challenging to set up the wireless but if you are patient and go step by step it works very well.
I am now trying to set up the scanner and find no immediate help online for this process and nothing came with the printer/scanner. I would not recommend this to a friend and I would not purchase again.

Worst Purchase Ever

This printer takes forever to print if you can get it to print. The wireless feature works sometime. It's good when you can get it to work. Many times I can't print and I have to download the information to another media so I can take it to another printer. I will not buy this type of product anymore. It was a waste of my money and time.
