very slow printer , loud and noisy , and needs lot of ink if not the black then the color. Turn on and off very frequent due to freeze screen.

Slow Startup

I've had this MG6320 for a good while now (2 yrs.) Unfortunately, I can't review all its print features, because I actually print very little. My biggest complaint is its slow startup. If you promptly follow up one print job with another, the 2nd job will begin quickly. However, even if you print a simple Notepad document that contains "Hello World!", this printer takes minutes preparing to print! I recently upgraded the firmware, thinking that Canon might have improved this, but that wasn't the case.

Previously owned a Canon S820 photo printer, awesome printer, it finally bit the dust after several years. Got a lot of photos and prints out of it.
6320 not so awesome. Scanning and two sided print features are useful. Ink consumption and ink price are awe'full. Not sure will wait until it wears out to replace. Buy ink or make mortgage payment? Hmm.

The print quality is good but the printer is just annoying. whenever you want to print you can hear the print head moving from side to side for literally minutes. Don't bother

I Love My Printer

I am a full-time telecommuter and I was sick of looking at the giant black laser printer in my living room so I bought this beautiful sleek white one. I try to be as paperless as possible, so I only print when necessary. I hooked it up wirelessly to both my Mac, iOS devices and PC and it works great. The set up was super easy. However the PC didn't want to recognize it so I called their tech support which was a very easy process. They call you back so that you don't have to wait on hold. They called me back within 9 minutes. I just needed to shut everything down and re-boot the router before the PC would recognize it. But printing off my ipod and ipad is the best. The scanner works great too. I'm very happy.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loud, Slow And touch screen goes out

At first I really liked this printer, but within 2 months the touch screen went out. The printer no longer recognizes the USB port, so I have to use it wirelessly (not really a big deal, but the printer is right on my desk). It is extremely slow and the ink (even the XL ink) with all of the money spent on ink, I could have bought a new printer.
When everything is working as intended, its a great product, but just from reading some of the other reviews, I am having the same problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Pixma MG6320 provides the finest photo prints I have ever gotten! Printer was a breeze to set up, is easy and intuitive to use. Makes perfect copies, and scan quality also excellent. Colors look perfect to me and razor sharp images! Very - very nice printer! I love it so far.
