Does its job but not well..

I sold my old house which had a brand new washer dryer pair from a competing brand and moved into a rented house with all GE appliances. This GE dryer works, but lacks on settings and is SLOW. It takes nearly an hour to dry vs. the 15-20 minutes my old set did. The velvety gasket thingy on the lint filter is a pain to clean and putting the lint filter back in is tricky. l I miss my old washer and dryer. When I purchase my next house, GE laundry appliances won't be on my shopping list.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer

Purchased this dryer about 7 months ago and it works fine. Initially, it didn't seem to dry well and would stop short of the set time thinking the clothes were dry. By setting the "level button" to "more dry", that problem has been solved. Otherwise, has lots of different settings and works well. Runs fairly quietly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
