THe shelving on top has a small racks that you can't even put your bowls and cups.Ended up putting the plates, glasses, and bowls at the bottom then all utensils and silverware on top.

Gets the job done

This dishwasher was part of a package deal with our new house. I am not a particular fan of the turn-knob start, so I would not have picked it if I had my choice of dishwashers. Though, I am GE loyal - while they are still made in the USA anyway, so I would have purchased a GE dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!
