The door does not close tight when not is use. It only locks or close when you run it. But cleans the dishes well

This dishwasher came with the new home. It's very loud when i's running. Has a tip stick for seeing how much rinse agent is in it. Who does that? You can't see the liquid on the stick. It's very small inside. Has no room at all can't wait till it brakes, so I can get another one.

It came with our new home. Nothing to rave about, gets the job done as long as you pre rinse everything.

Impractical machine

The racks in this machine don't hold or separate the dishes well. It is noisy so isn't well suited for a great room setting. And it doesn't wash or dry well at the efficiency settings. We have to use hot wash and heated dry--eliminating the value of energy efficiency.

This appliance came as an appliance in a spec home. We did not get to choose our appliances. I love GE appliances but previously owned more up-line models.

The dishwasher's top rack is not deep so reusable bottles can't stand up. Also, already replaced once, but top rack doesn't slide easily in and out. Unit leaves food on the top of flat surfaces and plates need to be cleaned prior to cleaning in dishwasher which defeats the purpose of a dishwasher!

This dishwasher came standard with the brand new house we just built. I'm pretty sure it wasn't built in this decade as it has NO electric controls, all manual pop up colors behind the options. I have to run this dishwasher everyday, if not twice a day as it doesn't actually hold a lot of items at one time. If you need an archaic dishwasher and you don't have children, this is the one for you.
