It does not dry the dishes. Had a technician come out. Turned up the water temp to 120 degrees as advised, pushed high heat speed on washing, rincing, and heat dry as advised, bought TURBO JetDry. The dishwasher still does not dry the dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I replaced my mother's GE Potscrubber 1200 from the 1970's with this dishwasher. I was concerned that the new one might not wash the dishes as well because of stories that I had heard about dishwashers not cleaning as well because of the the new water saving technology. That couldn't be farther from the truth. This machine cleans dishes that have not been rinsed first, just as well as the old Potscrubber. You can't go wrong with this made in the U.S.A. product!

Great feature for a standard tub

Very quite compared to an older 13 yr old model we replaced. Has nice digital controls and even lets you delay the start of the cycles.
we needed a stainless steel standard tub due to not having enough room to fit a tall tub
design and this fit the the bill. Love made in USA items.

Works well but is very cheap. Our builder installed this unit for us but we will be replacing it for something nicer

The GE appliances were a part of package that came with the new home we purchased. The dishwasher is not drying properly.

Came with the new house. Pretty basic. Does the job, but not as good as the last dishwasher we had (a better GE model).
