No food residue

This thing gets the food grime and residue off of the plates and silverware. I put the dishes in dirty and they come out clean. That's American ingenuity at its finest!

I got this dishwasher with my new home and I have enjoyed the way it washes my dishes. It is not as quiet as I would like but its not over the top noisy either. Bottom line is it cleans very well and I am happy with my dishwasher.

This dishwasher was part of the appliance package for our new home. It must be the cheapest one out there. It's very loud and small.

Not many dishes can fit on the bottom given the design of the tray. The top can hold glasses on the sides, but forget about putting them in the middle. It's also pretty noisy in comparison to other models out there. I have had many GE appliances in the past and have loved them, but this one will eventually get replaced by a better model.

Perfect Fit

We built a new house and selected this washer as part of the overall planning process...sight unseen. It was installed on the island in the kitchen and fits perfectly. Since the house is an open concept, we wanted a quiet unit. Again, we were satisfied with the selection just because of this purpose alone as we hardly even notice it while it is on.

We needed a standard tub model because of open door clearance. This model has minimum interior features. It is hard to find products that fit older kitchen dimensions.

Although the dishwasher seems to function fine, the racks are not great. They bars seem to be high where they should be lower, and low where they seem to be higher. So, I can't always load stuff where I want (where they are too high), and the dishes seem to tip too much where they are too low.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
