Cheap and short term is best as I could describe.

I have owned this model for 12 years after having built a home. The first 9 were great, but something happened: be sure to clean your dishes off complete (and I mean complete) of any type thick sauces or condiments (including ketchup), spices, etc. Soap residue - yes, some left as I think the agitator does not provide proper pressure. Next, be ready to take apart and clean out the drain and "filter" along with mildew at least every 3 weeks or less with a wet/dry shop vac. The plus: never broke down, leaked or gave mechanical or electrical problems: just to its function.

Dishes come out with grease still on them. You have to wash your dishes before you load the dishwasher. What's the point?
