Not a good unit

They advertise that this unit will fit from 30" to 42" but Broan doesn't provide the extension pieces. Our opening is over 30" and can't be correctly installed without the 'not provided' pieces. After installing (with gaps), the cheap fluorescent light is so loud you feel like you're in a garage. Very cheap and poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I normally don't write reviews, but I want to caution those thinking about buying this. Don't! The install with the separate purchased extension pieces needed to be cut and modified to even work in the slightest bit. Also the light is so loud like others said it's deafening!! will not recommend to anyone! The only plus this product had is the CFM rating. I couldn't find many other units to use that didn't require makeup air.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
