Excellent Value for Feature Set

The Range hood was one of the few we found which came in the colour we required to match existing appliances.
The multiple fan speed and light options was one of the main features in the determination to purchase. While the sound level when operating on full fan speed is moderately high, the overall noise level is quite good (the higher noise level is to be expected when installing a higher air extraction (CFM) appliance.
I think the overall effectiveness of the 'smoke/odour' removal could be improved by possibly having the fan opening placed in the centre of the range hood (the fan is set to the left side, thus providing better air extraction from the left side of the stove)

Absolutely awful

I bought this range hood about 6 weeks ago, and I kept thinking maybe I was the problem with it. I had just moved from a previous home where I had installed a Broan and just loved it.
This design isn't worth having.
In fairness, this model I bought is ductless, so all the usual caveats on that apply.
However, it doesn't excuse the fact this model does NOT draw. The vents are in the back and the lights up front. Even on the highest fan setting, any smoke or steam are drawn to the lights. When you turn off the lights, all that happens is you can't see...the smoke/steam stays in front of the vents.
The second problem is there is no light indicator that shows over the light selection. Unless you happen to remember what you hit, you run up and down the choices until you hit it. I suspect that's a manufacturing defect.
I am really disappointed in this hood. I'm going to have to purchase another one that is better, and I won't be looking at the Broan brand for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy with this purchase. I didn't rate the ease of installation because I hired someone to do it. It looks very nice and does a good job. It was much less expensive than most others that I looked at.
