I paid twice for the same year of service

I still had almost a year of service left on my 2 year plan but an email made me think that it was time to renew. I didn't realize until I saw it reinstalling it and it had the time stamp thing. :(

Looks like your first subscription is through Best Buy, so you should be able to continue using that one and request a refund on the new one. You purchased that on 2/28/18, and we offer a 70 day refund policy. Feel free to give us a call at 1-866-350-6089.

why would I recommend this to anyone when I subscribed for 1 year on March 14,2018 my credit card was charged for a one year subscription and less than a month it has already expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of time and money

Webroot stopped working, expired? so I purchased an update, web secure, was unable to install, could not get around all the security, user id's, passwords. Purchased a new one. Unable to install, again. Waste of my time and waste of my money. Had similar problem last time I tried to update. Purchased a different security system and DELETED Webroot. I am not interested in using, or trying to use, this product again.

If Webroot had expired, then the program was still installed on your computer, and you only needed to renew the license itself. When you purchase a new license, you need to change the keycode on the program in order for it to switch over. If you try installing Webroot when a previous version still exists, it will fail, and I believe this to be what you encountered. PROBLEMS ARE GONE WITH THIS PROTECTION

My son is a computer programer and he is the one who steered me to Webroot. He explained that it worked in a different manner than the usual protection which was not working well for me. I have used it for three years now, and no problems that it did not clean up. I have it on Mac and Windows. Works great!
