It has not detected a particular ransomware that periodically appears on both of my laptops. Overall, there has not been sufficient time to properly evaluate the effectiveness in preventing such malware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SecureAnywhere has stopped several attacks and nothing has got past it. It is easy to use, fast and does not slow the system down while scanning. Possibly the best anti virus product I have used.

I feel confident that Webroot is keeping my composure mputers safe. It doesn’t shut me down to scan for viruses. It just sits in the background doing its thing. It came to me Hightower recommended and I’m very satisfied.
