I haven’t actually tried out anything. I’m hoping I really don’t need to do anything, just let Webroot work on its own. My issue is that I received a CD which I cannot play. My computer doesn’t have a CD slot. I paid extra for it. I haven’t opened it . Can I send it back and get a refund for it?

I'm confused. I'm not a technie. I happily used Webroot after it was put onto my new computer a couple of years ago. Recently I got notice to update, so I paid and thought Iid updated it. But I keep getting e-mails about updating the keycode. I thought I followed those instructions and finally got it done. But even yesterday another notice came. I went into Webroot, but it said that I had recently updated the keycode. It seems to be scanning regularly. I don't know what to think or do. And today I received a Webroot disc in the mail. I have no idea what that is for or how to use it or how necessary it is.
