Webroot makes it easy to reorder the anti-virus protection plan. It would be nice if the repeat, loyal customers could be offered a discount sometime, not just the first time purchasers.
Webroot runs quietly in the background and doesn't cause any problems. I've been using it on Windows since at least Windows 7. However, it has not detected any problems since being installed on my current Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs, except for a single drive file (zamguard64.sys) that was supposedly deleted on 5-7-2023. In the same timeframe there were four more log entries noting the file deletion (same location and MD5 signature), then Webroot went silent. In that same period of time, AVAST has detected threats resulting in the quarantine of 82 files. AVAST has always detected threats that Webroot has not reported. Perhaps AVAST is first in the file inspection sequence, but it also means that 100% of the threats that Webroot might have detected were already detected by AVAST, making Webroot a bit redundant. I would have some overlap, but not that much.
Renewed but I cannot add or change computers being protected. There is no one to call or email for assistance. Really feels like a scam. Sure the little green check box appears, but I have no idea what its checking or if I can make changes. I've been a customer for 6yrs and this will be my last renewal.
I do not have a spot to insert my disc, therefore I can not continue to install my security, that I have paid for.
