Even though I renewed and paid for my subscription, I continue to get pop ups saying my subscription is expired. I activated using my key code. How do I know if it is really working?

This sounds like a keycode activation issue. When you open the interface and click on the "my account" cog wheel on the bottom right does it show the keycode that you just purchased? If not all you need to do is copy it in there and it will activate.
