I paid for & downloaded the software. My existing software continually demands I update despite this. I have sent 5 emails to "support" with no reply. The service is terrible. I will never use this software again in a new computer. Webroot is totally unresponsive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the past I have encountered web sites, which have 1. Locked up my computer, and 2. Requested money or they [unknown party] will erase my data.
I could not close the file and had to unplug my computer. Upon rebooting i immediately ran WebRoot, but no viruses were detected.

This is the worse protection that I've ever tried to install. If you try to reach customer support all's you get is a recording to go on line. There's no person to talk to. I'll never go through Webroot again!
