Cannot download software to my laptop

Fast Scans, Good Protection but ...

I'm impressed by the following: Webroot's fast scans and extremely low impact on my system's resources, Webroot's Impressive protection which according to MC Magazine is second to none and finally the fact that Webroot is an American Company that seems to care about its customer base. Having said all of this there is still plenty of room for improvement. In my view the GUI is unattractive and "old... even tired-looking." It needs a serious refresh and a new color scheme. By far the area in need of greatest improvement is the unintuitive nature of its website, particularly when I log in and try to make adjustments to the program I purchased. Nothing seems straight forward and it takes me many trial attempts to find what I'm looking for. The most frustrating feature of all is the very poorly designed Password manager. I personally have found it so clunky and difficult to both understand and actually get to work that I've decided against using the feature altogether. I've instead reverted to the LastPass program that I decided to purchase to fill the need for a password manager. I'm sorry to sound negative and the bottom line is that the positives outweigh the negatives but were I to purchase Webroot again, I would not bother with anything above the basic antivirus program.

Scan as a hacker file by other anti-virus software

Why Webroot internet security was treated as a hacker program when I forgot to remove my previous anti-virus software Avira ?

Not user freindly to renew

I have used this product for years with no issues when it came to installing and renewing. This time however I am very dissatisfied with the process. I had to enter my new code numerous times before it would work correctly. It still shows my product as expired on my desktop Icon but yet the check mark is green. So am I protected or not?

Too naggy and too many inappropriate warnings about legit, long established sites. Too hard to make exceptions. I should be able to click on the warning and then have the suspected site white listed without doing anything more or reading any more dire warnings.
Like all malware products it found malware that Sophos and Malware didn't and vice versa. Ok p;roduct but for me too hard to live with although it did co-exist with Malwarebytes and Sophos Home.
