Great and speedy protection

Using it for a month or so now and fortunately no attacks of any kind yet, so a little difficult to judge the protection (reason for 4 stars). I have chosen this product for easy of use, speed and integration in Windows 10. There is no lag whatsoever (I can't notice) It's web based mostly and since it's where most threats come from that is a good thing. All in all very happy user!

confusing if its sctive

After being notified that my Webroot had expired I went online to renew it and gave my credit card information and received what I thought was a confirmation that it was now installed. However every time I logged on a screen appeared showing terms and conditions for me to authorize an automatic payment to continue the program in the future, something I did when I renewed. I do not know if I have now renewed multiple programs for an eternity or if I even have protection as after a few of these notifications I simply closed the window.
This is confusing because after the payment I saw a message that said it would be running in what I thought was the background while using the computer for other programs. It would be helpful if you brought closure to a purchaser so that they know what they have bought and not be constantly soliciting more renewals. This continues as if I open the window to show the status of the virus scan, in one part of it it says "no virus detected" but in the lower part of the window it says ‘your subscription has expired’ Which is it???!!?
Finally I have no clue as to how many and which devices this subscription applies to even though I signed up for it to help with other devices.
In short you are a very techie business with no consideration to making it understandable to a non-techie person who just wants to know that he is getting some support to scan and cure viruses. You may understand what you are saying but the layman that uses a computer and smartphone a lot with no desire to be subjected to ‘insider speak’ believes you can do a lot better in walking us through setup, maximizing and use of this program.

Webroot installs easily and quickly.... very self-explanatory for both installation and usage.... Early warning notices for possible dangerous websites are very helpful... Optimization executions also help on a somewhat regular basis....Very happy with the product.. We use it for all of our family pc's (3 laptops, 4 desktops)...

I put this in my pc at home yesterday. Then I tried logging in. It would not let me log on saying that it lost me.

Internet Security Plus does all that it says it will. Having had Internet Security Complete for two previous years, I wish I had stayed with it, having and providing more benefits.
