The Worst Copier/Printer I have ever had!

I have always owned Dell printers, but due to the cost of the replacement cartridges opted to go with the Xerox Work Centre 6605. I am so, so sorry I did! I have had nothing but problems with this unit since I bought it. It is a standing joke around the office now that my printer is not working properly. It just always seems to be one thing or another. First, we didn't realize we ordered generic cartridges through our office supply store. This unit doesn't like the generic cartridges (just my luck!) I then have had paper feed issues every time I turn around. Now, the paper tray doesn't want to go in after I reset it up to print envelopes. I move at a quick pace in my office and to have these continual issues is very, very frustrating. I hope that this is a warning to others. Sorry I changed! I see the dumpster in this copier's future and it isn't even hardly a year old.

Cannot Print Self-Sealing Envelopes

This multifunction unit cannot print envelopes with a self-adhesive flap without resulting in significant wrinkling.

We are a small office that was looking to add color print capability as well as additional functionality. The WorkCentre 6605D provides just that and more. We have had for just a few months. Set-up and initial use was not too difficult for a non-tech savvy office. Print and picture quality is great. We enjoyed using quickly and know we will enjoy implementing more of its features as our needs require. Great product and we are very pleased with our purchase.
