Product is everything we were looking for in a small office printer

We purchased the WorkCentre 6605 machine to handle a variety of needs in our executive office suite. It provides great color for our administrative assistant to perform approval of graphic design proofs, prints on a variety of media, and has been a very reliable printer for the staff. The installation and setup was much easier than our previous product. We would highly recommend this product to a small office looking for an affordable solution to allow them the opportunity to do some color printing.

Wonderful Printer!

I love my new printer - the size is a bit shorter than the old one, which makes it fit my space better! It's also better for printing on card stock - which I use a lot.
My only complaint is that I have to select the paper size/style each time I open the paper tray - and that adjustment has to be made on the printer, not my computer. Over all, it's fabulous!

This product is easy to use & produces great quality printing

This printer has an economy mode, which takes a few seconds to come back on after it has not been used in awhile, but once it is going, it's fast & efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Malfunction within 5 weeks

The printer is extremely slow. For instance if I had a 10 page Word document, it would take a minute to "think" about it, then may print out 2 pages, think about it some more, print out a couple more page, etc.
It's too hot for overhead paper, completely wrinkles up.
By week 5, it completely stopped working, the display was a black screen, none of the buttons worked. Called in the Xerox technician who could not fix it. Today we got the replacement unit. I'm crossing my fingers.....
My supervisor will not allow me to just return it and get something else, but live and learn. I will get something else next time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Next Best Thing to Offset

We're using our WorkCentre 6605 to print high quality brochures, flyers, postcards and sell sheets when we need customized documents, small quantities or with short notice. With premium paper we're able to get professional results, near offset quality (minus the full bleed) that we're proud to hand out to our sales team and customers along-side our offset printed brochures.

Works well with only a few glitches, but if it is electronic you will have glitches!

I really like this printer. I researched it and bought it from a third party new. It has only had a few minor problems in the year we have had it, and the people at tech support really know what they are doing. It has been fixed each time with only a phone call. I would recommend.
