This is a replacement for my old network printer, This has everything that a home office would need. Built in network card or wireless setup. Print Quality is Clean and sharp. Front panel controls for fax copy and scan. It is really a great printer.
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: flimsy paper catcher
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sorry, I just posted bad review that was a mistake because I plug USB cable to wrong place. The printer just work perfect.
Canon products are my favorite. I have been using for more than 10 year. This is first time I made this funny mistake.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, High Quality Output, easy to use

It pays for itself

I've had this printer now almost 3 years. I had to replace the starter toner cartridge at about 6 months (it began warning me about low toner and lasted 3 more months). That is better than the life of a high volume inkjet cart. I am still running strong on its replacement, 2.5 years. Full featured. Easy to set up as a network printer (just plug into the router and give it a static IP then run your drivers on any laptop/pc/device you wish to print to it). Prints fast, scans beautifully. You'll never miss the lack of color. Worth every penny. Personal use, business use, and any combo in between I cannot recommend this printer enough. Get yourself away from the headaches of inkjet and upgrade your life. The printer will pay for itself in ink cart savings alone.

We have tried to use this machine for two years. You constantly have to restart it all the time. The error light constantly stays on.

Ridiculous to find the right cable
on September 3, 2014

I still do not have the correct cable because apparently the cable that is recommended does not work with Windows 8. I cannot find a cable that is recommended with Windows 8, so not sure what I should do. This is a ridiculously stupid problem to have.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, Low Quality Output, unreliable, Flimsy Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
