Headband was great for skiing!

This headband was great for skiing! I used this headband and the action cam while skiing in Vermont last week. I don't understand the other reviewer's problem with the headband. I wore a helmet, put on my goggles and ran the strap under the strap/snap that secures it in the back of the helmet. Then I put on the action cam using this headband. The headband went around the helmet just like the goggles. I ran the headband under the same strap/snap on the back of the helmet just like the goggles. It all remained secure and I got great video. It did require some careful work when I wanted to lift my goggles from my eyes to the front top of the helmet but I was able to do so without too much trouble. I'd normally just attach the camera to the helmet but this was a rental helmet so the headband was necessary - it's a good buy!

I would like to see a mount for the action cam that can adjust both up, down and left to right. As it is now you can only adjust left and right. That is my only complaint with the design. Other than that it has held up great and helped catch some great footage.
What's great about it: Durable, easy to use
What's not so great: Can only adjust camera when in this mount left to right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First time around not a charm

Guess there always had to be a first ..... everything I buy Sony I can usually give a 5 star, two thumbs up review, not this one. The product is made good, cannot complain about the quality, it's just the design that sucks. No horizontal adjustment.....which means, unless you wear it uncomfortably on your head on an angle, most of your outdoor shots will be of tree tops and sky as you are walking.... which makes no sense whatsoever. I know this is first generation product, but I should have read reviews before purchasing, as this is going to look good only sitting on a shelf collecting dust
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Useless for winter sports

Absolutely useless for winter sports. Do not believe pictures where skiers wear it on their goggles. You cannot tighten the goggle strap tight enough for the camera not to jump all around. Also the camera is heavy so it tilts away and there is no way to adjust it straight. I bought it for skiing and had to buy GoPro accesories to make it work. Waste of money.

Floatation for the Action Cam

This is a great camera and is easy to use with a MAC. The only problem I have is that you cannot go water skiing/tubing with is because you could lose the camera. If you buy the AKA-FL1 it will NOT fit in the cradle.
What's great about it: Snow Skiing, Walking, Snorkeling
What's not so great: Floatation
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please sell it with Skeleton Frame

Why don't you guys sell it with the Skeleton Frame for Action Cam? That way we could use it with an external mic and vlog while using a bike and so on...
