I haven't used this antivirus software in years, it was alright, I just switched to another one I wanted to try. The last couple years they try to auto renew my subscription without my authorization, which is just unprofessional I believe. This year they charged my credit card, they still had it in their system apparently? And now I'm still trying to make contact with the right department to get it straightened out! It's very time consuming, be careful using these guys!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using Webroot for 6 years now, and it's given me total security of my computer and peace of mind to say the least. Before Webroot I was using what I thought was the best virus program available which was Norton, but it caused me problems with viruses still getting into my computer. I was fortunate enough to see an advertising for Webroot and read some of the excellent reviews, and decided to try it. I've been a loyal customer ever since, and am very glad I took that chance. I recommend it to anyone needing a total virus program by all means!

I've continued to buy Webroot over the years because it continues to protect my PC and devices effectively. I love that I am averted from potentially dangerous websites immediately. Also, the scans run quietly and quickly in the background, never interrupting my work.

I really like the product, but I am very disappointed in their renewal policy. The renewal cost is $80.00, while the new subscription is $38.00.
If this is how treat treat long term customers, I will no longer support them.

Annoying nag for renewal

To be fair I find the product funtionaility good. What I HATE is that 60 days from your renewal its starts to nag for you to renew at full price. 60 days thats 1/6th of the membership duration. Why should I be nagged this far out? I've had enough and won't be renewing with them any more.
