I have used Webroot for many years. When I got a new laptop I had trouble getting webroot onto my new laptop. I ended up subscribing to webroot again even though my existing subscription is still valid till April.
I don't have a problem with virus protection but the problem that I have is even though I have renewed my subscription I keep getting emails stating my subscription have expired.
Before Webroot combined with Carbonite, they were easy to contact and you could talk to someone in the United States. Now you have to go through a phone tree and end up talking to someone in the Philippines.
I've been a subscriber to Webroot for years - my first install was from a disk sold in a Software store. I've not ever had a problem with data loss or infections or from any other malicious activity. Thank you, Webroot!
My experience has been very bad. I installed on two laptops. The systems became completely slow. So we uninstalled it on one of the systems in order to free the system. The laptop speed became restored. As we continue to manage it on the second system, we were thoroughly embarrassed when the laptop hanged. We had to uninstall and reinstall the operating system before been able to put the laptop on continuous usage. As I am writing this report the webroot anti virus I purchased is NOT installed on any system.
