It's a AV software that's not a heavy load on computer resources. It runs "quietly" in the background. I've only occasionally had it block legitimate programs, but whitelisting legitimate programs is a hassle . My major problem is getting in and out of the dashboard. You'd think it was the pentagon.

SO FAR SO GOOD....No issues that we know of however I just had to rebuild my wife's PC do to some weird things that were happening on different websites. I had to replace the harddrive just to be sure that the issue was not on the hard drive. I did not contact WebRoot however because their customer service is too complicated.

I have used Webroot for 10 years. Never had a problem. Every time I start a device it is scanning. No need to initiate a scan. I wish my devices were as dependable as Webroot.
