I'm required to use an iPad for work purposes, but I carry an android phone and love very much my android tablets. I've had 2 of the Nexus 7 units and wanted something as comparable to the iPad Air 2 as far and performance goes. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S nails that. Short of the OS differences I find that it performs very well under most all conditions. video replay, recording, etc all work very well. Screen performance and volume is good. Screen mirroring is a cool option that I've used as well. Overall it's been the iPad Air 2 droid version hands down.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: tablet sound can always be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this tablet. Awesome display, sound, design and price. Love the expandable memory, can swap out out the mini SD card whenever I need to. I do have an iPhone only because it's a work phone and my company pays . I would buy a Samsung if in no longer Ave the company phone.
The tablet is the best I have used from iPad to android I read reviews of screen flashing but have not encountered this yet hopefully I don't long enough battery life for my life style and speakers are good better then they used to be
I took this on a Baltic cruise and took a lot of beautiful pictures with it. I was able to load movies on to my microSD card and watch them on the ship and also took a few books to read on the same card. The display was perfect and I liked everything about this tablet from the form to the weight. The speakers on this are awesome too.
It is light enough and small enough to slip in my bag. The display is super nice. I had an ipad2 and the galaxy tab S feels like its light years ahead.
Does seem to crash a bit, but all in all its a nice product. I can't comment on durability.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, love the size and weight
Cons: doesn't sync phone to tablet calendar.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does what it says it does. I have no complaints. My apps don't crash. Just wish it has more pro edit apps for photography but other then that I love it.
I am a diehard Apple fan so I was skeptical about using anything but...however, I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I love my Samsung tablet. It is easy to use and I absolutely love the kid mode. This feature is what has won me over ten fold! The only complaint I have this far is the battery life is minimal.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, kids mode!, high def picture is great!
Cons: poor battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrific but oversaturated display

This model has a bright OLED display. Samsung tends to dial the color saturation up way too high on their OLED displays. Fortunately, when I use the gallery to browse photographs, the colors are not oversaturated. Can't tell if Samsung is adjusting the screen when photos are displayed.
Otherwise, it is a great device. A good compromise between large and small screens. The performance is zippy and stable. The device is thin and light, but stills seems to have good battery life.
One drawback with all the Android tablets is the Android app store. Developers have been slow to optimize Android apps for tablet sized screens. Some apps take advantage of the extra screen size. Many do not. And the app store does not clearly identify apps which have been optimized for tablets. Something that Google needs to work on.
