This tablet's screen is light years ahead of the Note 8 it is replacing. Such a joy to use! Much thinner and lighter. I really don't miss the S-pen.

This tablet is just like my Samsung phone which is probably why I love it. I haven't changed much of the settings yet but I really like the features.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight

This is my first Samsung product. I really enjoy the screen on this tablet,prefect for watching movies, social media.It is very light weight easy to carry with you, love how it is expandable to 128g. The only thing I think needs improvement is the speakers. They sound OK but I think they can be better.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: speaker quality

I primarily use my tablet for reading I have nook, kobo, kindle and overdrive (for libraries) loaded on it. The Galaxy accepts all the bells and whistles of the apps; some other tablets will only accept stripped down versions. The type and font are easy to read in a dark room or outside and the controls are very easy to use. I recommend this tablet to anyone and in fact have to people I know.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I use it for class and recorded all the lecture and the mic worked great for what I needed it was loud enough to listen to it afterwards. But I am still trying to lea4n what it can really do

The Tab S 8.4 is an excellent piece of kit. I purchased it to use overseas as it is light and powerful, easy to use and is an excellent supplement to your standard camera. I would like to be able, however to access data on exactly how some of the apps actually work but all in all an extremely flexible and powerful piece of technology and a must for the traveller.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, powerful
Cons: lack of extensive operating data

Great unit did have some initial problems with factory inatalled screen saver popping up when went to sleep mode or hit window button finally got resolved wit samsung support was about ready to return unit. Does really run down battery fast with heavy use.

After lots of research, I decided on the Samsung galaxy, because of the features, design, performance, I do not regret my decision. I owned an iPad prior, and I the Galaxy is much better all the way around.
