I love the predictive typing but find the voice dictation lacking severely from my iPhone dictation.
I love the expansion capabilities with the micro SD slot, and that is the primary reason that I chose my Galaxy tablet over an iPad! I can load up my tablet with editable doc files and spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and also easily transfer and edit files from my PC'S while cabled up through a USB port. PDF files are also handled great on the SD card.
I love the expansion capabilities with the micro SD slot, and that is the primary reason that I chose my Galaxy tablet over an iPad! PDF files are also handled great on the SD card.
So far I've been able to find almost all of the apps that I use on my iPhone available through the Google Playstore. Also, I can automatically sync and work with my iCloud email, calendar, contacts and notes seemlessly. My biggest fear when expanding to the Samsung Galaxy tablet was that I would be held hostage to the Apple products, but Samsung and Google have made the switch and the capability possible to work on cross platforms.
I will consider switching to a Galaxy phone when the time comes if the capability exists to import my contacts, calendar, and notes into the galaxy platform. Also would need to see the voice dictation ironed out.

this product seems to have web browser issues. from being slow, to disconnecting from wifi for no reason

Very Pleased with Tab S 8.4

Just a couple of nits: I wish battery life were better (it's pretty god, but I wish....), the display tends to dim after only a minute or two of use. Not sure how to overcome this. Other than these two items, am very happy with the TabS 8.4.

Wonderful Screen Resolution

Has an amazing picture. Runs games very smoothly and crystal clear. It's like I have a TV in my hands yet it acts as a computer. I'm very pleased, but it's a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay. There are way more built in apps than necessary. I like to have simplicity, high performance, and be user friendly for an easy and happier experience. Once I set up my personal settings and chosen what app to use instead of others, I achieved this.
I've had this for a while now and am still blown away by how much the screen resolution is compared to my Samsung Tab 4 7.0 inch. I've noticed also, that it runs and loads things faster. This makes my YouTube viewing more enjoyable as well. This allows more of the screen to sine.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent even for a novice!

I am relatively new to tablets. Prior to this purchase, I hauled my laptop almost every where. Now I am finding I am leaving my laptop home. The Samsung Tab S has opened my eyes to the versatility offered by these little handheld devices. Graphics are excellent, which is essential because I am an amateur photographer and sharing my photos with the Tab S has become an ease and a joy
I am a convert now.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

From the Super Amoled Quad HD screen, to the sheer speed. This tablet is the total package, for my entertainment and actually getting some work done too. Its the perfect size too, for the portability. Definitely my favorite piece of tech. I also love reading my comics on here too!!
