I waited to get the galaxy s 8 inch 16 gig. I was happy that as soon as I charged it that I was ready to go. I was able to instantly bring up and connect all my apps from my galaxy phone. My only disappointment is going from an iPad there are not as many apps or conversions. The Samsung has great picture quality and the size is perfect. The weight is so light I am comfortable carrying the galaxy tablet in purse. Great tablet for everyone from adults to kids. My 3 year old grandson is able to use it to look at pictures or watch movies. Definitely a good buy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

At first I was skeptical cause of the price, but after noticing how well it performs and how good the screen looks I felt good about my decision.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great perfomance

Huge step up from Nook HD+

Going from a nook hd+ to this was device was a treat. So much better in so many ways.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, solid build
Cons: a bit pricey?

This table has terrible battery life.

Great tablet for the money, little pricey and the battery doesn't hold up well unless in ultimate battery saver mode and you can't do much in that mode. Other than that it's a great tablet, great back camera quality, grainy on the front facing camera but I didn't get it for the camera so I'm not phased by it. Clear HD video nice sized screen, slim and light. Overall good quality. Great tablet.

Cons: terrible battery life

I am very impressed by the screen resolution . This is the first Android tablet that surpasses the IPAD in screen resolution and performance . I would like a 64 bit processor but I am very satisfied with this tablet . I did not buy the tablet for gaming but it is a very capable platform for that . Another big plus is that it has a micro SD slot that supports up to a 128 G SD card . I added a 64 G Micro SD card . internal storage is not an issue with cloud storage now . I wish the UI Touch WIZ had a better make over then Samsung did with this tablet .It also is easy to root and install a custom recovery and ROM .
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, larger screen, fast processor
Cons: price point, ui touchwiz

I owned the Tab S 8.4 for several months and thought it was perfect. Well, except for my old eyes. I had an iPad 2 and this replaced it, just as the 8.4" replaced the iPad Mini.
Excellent screen and the Android interface works much better for me than iOS.
I probably should have bought the 10.5" instead of the 8.4" initially, but, now I have two and my wife has her own Tab S.
