I love this tablet. I had to get my bf one too and it comes on Thursday. YAY! Get it Samsung, I cant wait until the Note 4 comes out. I'll be anxiously waiting and looking for the design.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, beautiful

I love this tab and would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy one. Compare to an Ipad owned by my daughter, Samsung Tab S is far superior.

Best of My Four Tablets

I have an iPad 2, iPad 4 (Retina), Google Nexus and the Samsung Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Samsung is NOW my GOTO tablet and gets 90% of my tablet use. As everyone (I think) knows, the display is simply outstanding. The features, flexibility, battery life and ease of use are all outstanding. While I know you generally "get what you pay for," while the Galaxy Tab S is a superb package, it commands pricing that I was willing to pay, but I have to rate it as an "Average Value" due to the premium pricing.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: premium expensive pricing

This tablet is the best tablet ever. I own an iPad and the Samsung is light years ahead of it. The screen is gorgeous and ease of use is fantastic!! I have officially retired my laptop and now use the Samsung for everything.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, powefull, replaces my laptop, long battery life

This is my first tablet I purchased and was very hesitant. I did a lot of research and love this tablet!! The features and user friendly style has made me a samsung girl! I am going to be switching from my Iphone to a samsung in the next month! This product has been great and so easy to use.

I love this device (Tab S 8.4). I'm looking forward to installing a bare-bones os on it though, or at least rooting it to rid the parasitic pre-installed bloatware that comes with it. The performance suffers greatly from RAM consumption due to the excessive backgrounded processes, which seem to chew up ram even when "turned off"/disabled. Specifically, the 3GB ram should be plenty, but the 1.5--1.7 are occupied by the os and things you can't turn off/disable. The os itself should take less than 1GB. Lots of software extras are great for casual users, but some of us need the option to remove these. As mentioned in previous two un-publshed reviews, i will not buy another device (tv,cell,whathaveyou) from this manuafacturer until they provide the option to remove all this preinstalled junk (one man's junk..treasure. i understand that. I just want an option).
