Much good, but too many glitches

Brilliant screen and many useful features. But too many things that are not well thought through. For example, when loading photos from a camera, something a tab is very useful for while travelling, to select a group of photos one has to tap each photo individually! Very annoying. Why can't we select a group of files as can be done with SHIFT and arrows in windows?
Then, when looking through the downloaded photos, the order they come up is different to the order of file names or even date - seems unpredictable!
Other similar glitches with the way it works. Selected files disappear if one makes the smallest error of touch for example.
A bit more work needed to get this device working in a logical way!

This the best tablet I have ever used. Very fast and smooth video and the battery life is out of this world.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight

What can I say that isn't repeating what you've already heard? The screen is wonderful, clear, bright and brilliantly colored. The slim build and light weight are simply amazing. Barry life is great and when combined with Chrome Cast this tablet becomes a centerpiece of your HD TV entertainment system! I love my Galaxy Tab S 8.4, it's the perfect size and has the muscle and features to make almost any user very happy. Sure, Samsung packs devices with more add on features than most of us will use, but you find the ones that matter to you and your lifestyle and you use them.
If I were to try to have a negative to say about it, the only thing I can come up with would be that the back case gets warm to hot between the edge and the letter S of Samsung when playing online video games like Clash of Clans, Boom Beach and Pocket Fort back to back for a half hour or so. I'm sure that if I had it in a case, I wouldn't notice that this heat builds up, and I use it as a reminder to put the tablet down and go do something!
I really couldn't ask for more from a tablet device. I also have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and I've since gifted it to my retired mother who loves it very much. I liked the 8.0, but the brighter and more colorful and clear display on this 8.4 made it a must have! Go get one, you'll fall in love with it!
Oh yea, the Tab S also has the stereo speakers that are greatly improved over the Tab 4.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, samsung's added features!
I would recommend this to a friend!

beautiful design fast processing vivid video decent camera a lot of pro's Samsung gives great apps with its products free book ever month with the kindle app only thing I wish was a better battery life when watching video's but they do have a battery saver application built in overall very happy wish I would of saved up the extra for the 10inch but this fits great in your pocket :)

This is a fantastic little device. Highly portable with a superb QHD screen and superior multitasking ability.
I use the tab s every day to browse the web, check emails, watch youtube videos and read books. It's a great device with modern software. Unlike competitors that have not upgraded their software in years, this one is nice with the new multitasking ability.
Also, all apps automatically update. Google integration is amazing, you can actually make phone calls from the device over WIFI uisng the hangouts app. Videos and photos upload to Google+ automatically.

Amazing screen, amazing battery life, amazing product!

This is the second tablet I have ever owned and I absolutely love it. The screen looks amazing...very sharp and bright. I am able to watch movies and NFL network games with perfectly smooth playback. The few games I actually play look incredible and play flawlessly with this tablet's ultra high resolution. My co-workers who have iPads are even amazed by the screen on this thing!
Aside from being able to do just about anything I want with this table I am even more impressed with its battery life. When the cover to the case I bought for it is closed it doesn't seem to use any battery at all...the amount it uses is so small that I don't notice. I have had it on playing NFL Network for about 6 hours and it used less than half of the battery from a full charge. That's pretty good in my opinion. Sound is surprisingly good from what small speakers are crammed into this extremely thin device and the device is very responsive when navigating through it.
This one is a winner!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at getting a tablet! Before this I had a kindle fire and it is a one star compared to this tab! It is super easy to use, beautiful to look at the the perfect size!!! I have no complaints!!!

Productivity and Power in your Palm

This was a great addition to my Galaxy Note 3 Phone. The battery lasts over a day and I am usually on it for many hours for emails and Internet use. When I use it for Hulu or Netflix...it will last for about 5 hours which is reasonable. I wish it had a stylus similar to the Note 3. I feel like I have yet to use it to its full potential and I am still learning something new about it every day. Well worth the money if you need something reliable, light and compact for a daily user. I wish there was a case made for this with a keyboard, sometimes I wish I had that option for it.
