What a tablet!

The first thing that jumps out is the beautiful display. The picture is sharp, clear and has accurate colors. I am getting 8-9 hours battery life with moderately heavy to heavy use. This thin and light tablet is a delight to use and very portable. I would highly recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a high end tablet. You cannot go wrong

Its a very decent tablet....very good on the battery. The only thing I did not like was the bloatware that came along with the tablet and had a few issues with Wi-Fi which apparently is widely known issue for which Samsung never put out an update to fix,

If you're gonna spend money on a great tablet for someone this holiday, look no further. This has an amazing battery life and its 16:9 ratio is PERFECT for watching movies!

My favorite tablet so far.

I use this tablet for reading, watching movies, writing (with a wireless keyboard), games, CAD design, social media, listening to music, and surfing the web. It hasn't let me down yet for any of these tasks. I like the 16:9 aspect ratio compared to the 4:3 for two reasons: first, movies fill the screen; and second, it fits in my suit pocket or the back pocket of my jeans.
I can't do a review of this tablet without mentioning the screen. It's truly amazing. The AMOLED screen is so vibrant! I have had AMOLED screens before, and white looked kind of yellow, but this tablet has color setting options that seem to have fixed that. I have seen reviews that say the 4:3 aspect ratio is better for reading, but I prefer the narrower screen for books.
The only complaint I have is that there is a lag or stutter when scrolling in some apps. That said, I noticed the same stuttering with ipad mini 4 and nexus 7 2013. It seems like any tablet these days should be able to scroll smoothly.
I use tablets for visual tasks, so regardless of what is happening in the background, I want the display to be versitile, stable, and beautiful. The tab s delivers this in a format that works well for me.
