This tablet is a good upgrade from my outdated netbook. The power button is a little tough to use, but otherwise it meets my expectations.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

The design, the size, and the graphics are great, but the inability to read my subscriptions to TIME, CONSUMER REPORTS and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC isn't good. I wanted to be able to read these magazines and others on the Tab for ease of changing the font size.

Starts up fast and performs very well. Display images are sharp and very colorful. Very light weight. Battery charging from 15% charge to full charge takes nearly 4 hours which is too long. This is by plugging the power cable into the wall socket. Otherwise , overall a great product.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery charging takes too long

I have an IPad and got the Samsung for Christmas. It, by far, surpasses the iPad! The graphics are great, bright, it's fast and very easy to operate. The only thing that I have a problem with is the battery life isn't as long as the iPad, but it hasn't died on me yet. I keep it charged as much as possible. Great value!

Great High End Tablet

First I would just like to say that I love this tablet. I would recommend it to a friend and I am very happy with my purchase.
I was looking for a tablet to replace my old one for a long time. I wanted a tablet that can pretty much replace a laptop, and I think this one really fits the bill in this department. I am able to do almost anything I do on a PC. (of course there are a few exceptions here, but I still have a desktop for those)
Mainly I use this for browsing and such. It really works great for this. I love that you can have more than one app open at a time. It is very easy to use, and works very well. The hardware in this thing can handle it very easily.
Major pros that made me buy this tablet:
- Android App support
- MicroSD slot mean you can add storage way cheaper than being forced to buy built in storage
- Syncing capability with android phones (can transfer files VERY quickly/easily over Bluetooth)
- Syncing capability with smart TVs
- Android App support

Overall the quality of this tablet is amazing. It took me a long time to decide, but I am very happy I went with this one. Fantastic high end tablet. Nice job Samsung.

Also sidesync allows me to receive and makes calls on tab from phone
The speakers are ok, but it sounds great with ear buds or Bluetooth speakers.

I like everything about the tablet except for the screen resolution set too high. When I show a photo to a client it is always res' D up and becomes blurred. I'm returning my tablet since I had 14 days to return. I would not recommend this tablet If your professional job is photography.
