this is the best tablet I have tried

When I buy new technology I do my research. I test the products ao many times that the workers in the store get sick of my questions. After weeks of research and testing I chose the galaxy tab s. Its size is perfect. It fits right into my bag. It works so well for school and research for costume design. I can take pictures and store them right on my device. I know I know...I can do that on my phone. Phones are tiny. The galaxy tab s is just the right size.
I have everything I need right there on my tablet. I love it. It goes everywhere with me. It has been to a convention ia Rochester New York and to Lancaster PA. I love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Best personal computer I've ever had

My son gave me the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for a Christmas present, and I think it's the best personal computer I have ever had. This can really replace a laptop in my book.
The size of the screen assures you can watch a real movie or clip, but it also means that if you get the separate bluetooth keyboard the keyboard is large enough to really type on it in QUERTY style.
In the past I was not impressed with the accompanying Samsung software, as it seemed to be more amateurish and less useful. This tablet changes that; the software (available by setting up a Samsung account is really useful. Mine came with the equivalent of Microsoft Office, and also a PC Anywhere/Go to My PC equivalent. The UI is cleaner and more standard than my last Samsung device..
This is a top notch, state of the art tablet. I highly recommend itl

I am 73 years old. I love the photos, used it in taking photos in Italy, France and Spain. Still learning on how to use it. Very light and ideal to carry with you.

For my first full size tablet it is by far the best tablet I have used glad I own it. I have shopped around and tested other products and none come close to the galaxy s. The features, speed, design the quality the playback when watching movies their is no lag at all and slim its great all around it is awesome another great product from Samsung cant wait to see whats next.

Battery issues

Do not buy this tablet, at first it was great, after about week the battery started dying quickly and once the battery is completely dead you will not be able to bring it back up the charger that came with it will not charge it. My tablet is now useless.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life and charging issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Tablet

Boaught this about a month ago. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Everything is just what I wanted but there is 2 small cons I have found.
1. The amount of pre-installed apps is a little much. There are ways around this, but I would wish they would give us the option to download or not.
2. Not really samsungs fault, but you can not store apps on the SD card. This is a problem with Android's KITKAT that this tablet has. Again there are ways around this, but it voids the warranty.

I was torn between this and a few other tablets. I am happy with my decision.

I received this tablet for Valentine's Day. Better than flowers to me. All our electronic devices are Samsung. The thinness was scary for me because I keep thinking I will snap it in half, but it's actually built very well. The display is impressively crisp. Very versatile. Can easily be customized for your specific taste. Can make profiles for different users. Even set it up with a kid friendly profile. Battery life with daily use is ok. My only real complaints would be that when using the tablet in the vertical position, I keep hitting the home key and the 2 touch keys next to it. And it does not support flash player. That means the videos that people posts on Facebook cannot be viewed and games I play on popular gaming sites cannot be played. That is frustrating, but I am still very happy with this little guy. The price is expensive, but hopefully it will come down in the future. I would like to get one for my teenagers.
