Simply blows the competition away in all categories...just fantastic.

Lighter than competitor's tablets and with a much nicer display, Samsung has allowed me to vigorously dump the competitors products. Without being tethered to a particular media manager, although you may use Kies, one can literally transfer files (music, videos) to discreet directories without having a competitor's media manager shuffle and rename directories.
No more am I a captive to obsolescence cycles, where competitors load up the O/S with code periodically to make the device more and more sluggish....forcing you to upgrade to a new device. And if you are adventurous, there is a whole community of Android developers out there with great free apps for the Galaxy Tab. New iterations of Android's O/S just keep coming at no charge to you.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: should have an aluminum case.

So far so good. Getting to know the screens. First on list is to find how to make keyboard larger.

Tablet "S" works very good for what we wanted it to do. Easy to use, good battery life and flexible. Found out that when the battery runs down it puts a small symbol in the lower left corner. Put it on the charger and it came back just like new. Didn't loose any data or programs. We bought the WIFI only unit and we are finding that we can always find WIFI. Good purchase for us.

I am very happy with this product, except the finger recognition. I finally had to turn it off, because of the constant need to use the bypass code. I reset it several times but finally gave up.

Great features for a great price

This is my first tablet . I bought this one since it is Samsung's current model. I liked the price range and the flexibility of it. It has a lot of features which I am slowly getting to know. It is a steep learning curve but by using it I am getting the hang of it which says a lot since I am a simpleton when it comes to electronics. I was able to set it up and hook to wifi without any help so that speaks well for the product. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a tablet.

My First Tablet

I'm very pleased with this product a great value for the price! I own many Samsung products and so this selection was easy since the quality is always evident. I researched this product and the ratings were better than an iPad which I was considering purchasing.
