Visually amazing.

As noted in the review title the visuals and graphics are absolutely amazing especially considering this device is a tablet and not a laptop and/PC (mini). I am very impressed with the video and streaming capabilites and performances especially while watching anything in HD quality. Job well done in my opinion and I look forward to seeing what bigger and better things are to come in the future as technology continues to advance even further!

Cons: Too big

Great Tablet with lots of features

I do not normally write reviews on things i have purchased but this warranted it. I have owned several tablets, Asus iPad Nexus Kindle, but I have not enjoyed one as much as this one. There are lots of features and to be honest, i don't use most of them. I enjoy the IR emitter to control my electronics, the power the tablet has to run different apps such as Netflix and different readers, and the light weight make travel nice. Overall, this is the best tablet i've owned and i've owned a few in my time. Most of them found their way into a corner but i keep coming back to this one. I would recommend it. My only gripe would be the price was a bit heavy and the color options weren't the most diverse but a nice case and that doesn't matter.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, powerful
Cons: expensive

When I first got it, it was pretty slow. It took a little while to get the apps open, the keyboard would delay a few moments before it would type everything out. Maybe the screen resolution took up a lot of the processing power? I don't know, but after the most recent update, it is MUCH faster for me. Definitely a plus!
For whatever reason, my playlists in the music app would get mixed, or the names wouldn't be correct. This really bothered me because I am a music lunatic (in Samsung's defense, it may have been an issue with file compatibility with the device, plus Google music is preloaded on the device, which pretty much makes up for anything weird with the native music player of the device).
The speakers could definitely be better if I am talking about media. I mean, with such an amazing screen, videos have incredible potential, but the speakers are a bit... eh. Not bad, not bad at all, simply average (can get "blare-y").

Favourite part though? EXPANDABLE STORAGE. That was the reason I love the tablet so much! Don't need to worry about running out of space! INFINITE MUSIC AND MOVIES. The best.
Other random notes: annoyed about the bloatware, but got over that pretty quickly because you can just keep it in the"background"; annoyed that there is no bluetooth stylus compatible with it like there are for iPads (I like to take notes on it or doodle).
Overall, a great device, not inexpensive, but no sign of extortion here (oh, and I forgot to say EXTREMELY LIGHT). Glad I got it instead of an iPad
ONE MORE WARNING.: If you crack the screen, just the screen replacement is SUPER expensive. GET A CASE.

Love my galaxy tablet, but hate that I can't use it with my chrome cast to cast tv programs to my big screen tv.Samsung should provide an updated to do this, otherwise one of the best tablets there is.

Cons: can't use chrome cast with tablet.

This is a grat tanlet snd has given us no problems however would be better if the battery lasted longer

I loved my Samsung tablet

I was in an accident almost two years ago and my life turned upside down. I've become a shut in stuck in a wheel chair and my son bought me a Samsung tablet on mothers day. It became my link to the outside world, my news source and entertainment and when the pain gets bad and I can't sleep I'd listen to books on it. The tablet is awesome and has great features bur it's one draw back is it's very fragile. This is NOT a tablet for a child. A short drop from my couch with a protective case on and it still shattered the screen. I was shocked and heartbroken how easily the screen shattered. AND of all the days to drop it, I dropped it on my birthday! Ruined my day! The warranty doesn't cover the screen and I haven't worked since my accident so I can't afford to have it repaired. I wish Samsung had a donation program but they don't. I'll try to find a program that will repair them for the needy, schools etc. because it would still make a nice tablet for someone who can afford to repair it. The insides work great so I don't want to just throw it away.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, beautiful display, nice camera, great apps, i loved my tablet just wish it wasn't so fragile, great for games email news books youtube
Cons: too fragile, glass shatters easily, not durable, expensive
